April WINR Happy Hour: Film Screening + Discussion
Filmmakers: Sera Glass, Urusha Lamsal, and Bianca Walder (Graduate Students @ The Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources)
Join Lupine Collaborative and The Ruckelshaus Institute for the premiere of a short film highlighting the experiences of two women working in natural resource fields here in Wyoming. The 7-minute film will explore how mentorship supports workplace navigation, career persistence, and leadership development. We will explore how we can use the film (and storytelling more broadly) to create opportunities for networking, build community, and promote mentorship as a pathway toward greater opportunities for professionals at all stages of their careers in Wyoming’s natural resource workforce.
Women remain underrepresented in natural resource professions despite earning natural resource-related degrees at increasing rates.
